We learned about matter. We did an experiment with matter. Mrs. Bussey put some white vinegar into an empty water bottle. Then, she used a funnel to pour some baking soda into a balloon. Next, she carefully connected the balloon onto the water bottle and let the baking soda (solid) fall into the vinegar (liquid). The baking soda dissolved and a chemical reaction happened! When the solid and liquid mixed, it formed a GAS and the gas filled the balloon! It was really, really cool.
