Here is our nonfiction story...
I'm going to teach you about America. Aren't you excited? America is part of the continent of North America.  Our language is english. The symbols of America are the bald eagle, the American flag, and the Statue of Liberty. We greet each other by saying good morning, hello, or hi. We shake right hands to greet each other.  We eat all sorts of foods like hamburgers, pizza, hotdogs, and fries. We usually go to school and work by car. The most popular sports are football, basketball, and baseball.  The holidays we celebrate are Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Christmas traditions are putting out the Christmas tree, putting decorations on the tree, and hanging lights outside.    I hope you learned a LOT about America!
